DO I NEED AN ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER?+
Many construction projects require a New York State Registered Architect or Professional Engineer to prepare and file plans as the Applicant of Record. STS can coordinate with the filing team but does not replace a licensed design professional where one is required.
HOW MUCH DOES NYC PERMIT EXPEDITING COST?+
STS charges $750 per eligible permit for its standard permit-expediting service unless a different scope and price are approved in writing.
DOB charges, penalties, architect or engineer fees, inspections, testing, insurance premiums, bonds, records, shipping, and other third-party expenses are separate.
WHAT IS AN INSURANCE TRACKING NUMBER?+
An Insurance Tracking Number allows NYC DOB to track required contractor insurance records. The registration and required documents depend on the applicant and DOB requirements. STS charges a $750 one-time professional fee for registration support.
