STS professional fees generally range from $1,500 to $3,000, depending on the qualification route, classifications, entity, insurance, disclosures, document condition, and filing complexity. Government fees and third-party costs are additional.
The current non-refundable County application fee is $325 for up to three classifications. A supplemental application for three additional classifications is also $325.

Yes. Rockland requires applicable individual applicants and partners to submit a notarized Child Support Certification. A person who is four months or more in arrears, or who has not complied with certain child-support proceedings, may be subject to license suspension under New York law. Yes. STS can review and coordinate General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, disability, automobile, and other coverage connected to the filing. Rockland’s required General Liability limit depends on the classification; many classifications require at least $500,000, while the unlimited general-contractor classification currently requires $1,000,000. Coverage, premiums, and issuance remain subject to underwriting, eligibility, carrier terms, and payment.
Depending on the application route and business structure, requirements can include entity authorization, identification, qualifying experience, classification-specific reference letters, insurance certificates, child-support certification, criminal-history and judgment disclosures, commercial-vehicle registrations, and license fees.
No private company can guarantee government approval. STS prepares, organizes, submits, and tracks filings while helping address County requests. Final licensing decisions remain with Rockland County.
